Working Groups Meet and Greet Supper
What a wonderful night at our Working Group Meet & Greet! The positive energy and good will in the studio was very exciting!
A great mix of long-term and new members contributed to a brainstorm of ideas to improve Lyrics support areas eg: Wardrobe, Promotions & Fundraising, Sets, Property Maintenance, Social Events & Performance Support, Youth. Each group will now meet and start planning a way forward… and have fun doing it!
Thank you to everyone who came out especially Life Members Jo Howell & Neil Warren. A big thanks to Committee Members Beck Stoops (Secretary) & Sammy Jacobson for organising this event!
WORKING GROUPS
As with any committee, there is a lot of important work that goes on behind the scenes. The proposal to formalise the working groups within Leongatha Lyric Theatre, provides a clear line of connection to the committee to ensure cohesiveness and recognition of the work that is undertaken by the working groups. Each working group will have a nominated person to be the link to the committee, this may or may not be a committee member. The Leongatha Lyric Theatre committee values and appreciates the contribution made by all of our members that ensure the ongoing success of our theatre company.
