Terms and Conditions of Sale of Tickets for Leongatha Lyric Theatre Productions

Cancellations or Rescheduled Performances

Leongatha Lyric Theatre (hereinafter referred to as LLT) will use its best endeavours to advise customers when a performance is re-scheduled, significantly relocated or cancelled. LLT will ensure that a ‘Ticket Holder’ is entitled to entry at a re-scheduled performance. If a performance is cancelled by LLT, and if the ‘Ticket Holder’ is unable to attend the re-scheduled or significantly relocated performance, or if the performance is not re-scheduled, LLT will ensure that the ‘Ticket Holder’ receives a full refund of the Ticket price and other Ticket charges. LLT will not be liable for any other losses incurred as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or relocation of an event.

Ticket Holders are not eligible for refunds as a result of a change in personal circumstances, illness, dislike or dissatisfaction with the performance, use of an understudy, late attendance where entry may be refused and/or eviction.

Exchanges and Refunds

If a ‘Ticket Holder’ reports a problem for which they feel they have grounds for complaint, other than those specified in these Terms and Conditions, and has reported the problem to LLT or its representative before the completion of the performance, LLT will take all reasonable steps to determine whether the ‘Ticket Holder’ is entitled to an exchange option or refund. Where a substitute seat is found that is satisfactory to the ‘Ticket Holder’, no refund will be available. If an exchange option to another performance of the same production, or a refund is to be made, the ‘Ticket Holder’ has no right to attend the remaining portion of the performance for which the exchange or refund has been made. At all times, the original Ticket(s) and proof of purchase will be required, and any refund may not necessarily be available at the venue at the time the complaint is made.

Concession and Companion Tickets

LLT endeavour to keep ticket prices affordable to support inclusion and involvement in performing arts for all members of the community, including those on low incomes, students and children.

Concession holders include:

· Low Income Healthcare Card

· Aged Pension (this is not a Seniors Card)

· Disability Support Pension

Students & Children include:

· Fulltime Students (children under 3 must sit on the lap of the ‘Ticket Holder’ or alternatively a seat must be purchased).

A ‘Ticket Holder’ who cannot produce proof of their concession entitlement may be refused entry.

It is highly recommended that tickets being booked for people experiencing mobility, vision and hearing impairment contact our Ticket Secretary to discuss the customers needs.

LLT support the Victorian Companion Card Program. One complimentary ticket will be provided to holders of a valid Companion Card when accompanying a person with disability. Please contact our ticket secretary to book your ticket. You may be requested to present you companion card at the venue.
